The physical dimension is defined by “physical characteristics such as body size
and shape, sensory acuity, susceptibility to disease and disorders, body functioning and recuperative ability” (Donatelle & Thompson.2011, p.3) When taking the questionnaire I received a score of 28/40, which was my third highest. I noticed that I have some weak areas such as not doing warms up before and after exercising. I tend to never stretch before and after exercising, even though I know it’s such a bad habit and I should start to get the hang of doing it. On the other hand though I exercise my muscles and joints. For instance every Fridays I have dance practice for 2 hours, and then usually every weekend or every other weekend we have to perform. I am at and continue to maintain a desirable weight by being active in different activities. I believe there are some areas in where I could improve in such as being more active. For instance, since I school started dance has been my only daily active. My goal for this year and so on is to go to the Humber gym and work out at least once or twice a weak. I believe the more physical you are, the more you want to do a not feel so lazy, and also your body feels better. |
