After taking the Canada’s Food Guide online Food Guide maker it states that his servings are exactly where they should be for my age group. As mentioned above, this is not every day as servings are more on the high end while others are lower. This is a representation of everything he would typically eat on a day.
On average almost every day of the week he is meeting all the requirements of Canada’s Food Guide. The ones Paul always make sure that he gets all on are Milk, Meat and Grains. The reason why this happens is because they are the most easily accessible to him and also it's the easiest to digest. Whereas for Fruits and Vegetables he can get a few servings of fruit; but when it comes to vegetables he don’t like too many. It varies depending on what is made for dinner because it usually contains his vegetable servings for the day. When he analyzes his data gained from conducting a Nutrition Guide, it appears evident that he may be getting to much meat and having too much sugars from the fruit juices that he consume. Paul can improve this by substituting a juice beverage with a glass of water and by substituting a meat serving with another vegetable serving. By doing so he eliminates overdoing himself in one category and trying to balance out the servings in the others. |
