A behavioural change that I wish to change and improve my health
would be to eliminate Stress There are multiples health dimensions in which by relieving stress it could have very positive effects on my overall health and wellness: Mental Dimension: By eliminating stress from my behavioural list of emotions,it would allow me to think much more clearer and would allow me to excel further into my career and daily life. When stress is present it shuts down my mental processes and makes me think of unrealistic scenarios. For example with school is a major stressor “any physical, social, mental event or condition that forces our minds and bodies to react or adjust”(Donatelle, 56), there are a lot of exams and tests to be studied for, and all the overwhelming pressures to succeed are overpowering my senses to remain calm and relaxed. Stress becomes evident because it’s my conscious state of mind; giving me doubt and making false time management claims that aren’t true. I then rush through all the projects and assignments because I feel pressured for time as well as having doubts of doing work properly and logically. By eliminating stress from my life, it enables the mind to stay at ease and allows for much more clear and concise decisions and dailylife functions. |
