Nutrition is a crucial part to a successful lifestyle. Without the proper nutrition your body can’t function and perform the way it should be, compared to that of a person with proper nutrition. According to Canada’s Food Guide adults aged 19-30 should have a certain amount of servings of each individual food category. We need 8-10 fruit/vegetable servings, 8 grain servings, 2 milk and alternative servings and 3 meat servings for males. Depending on your diet and intake of food we can determine if the person is getting the proper nutrition they need. If they have more or less of one food group then we accommodate the lesser food group by taking a serving away from a food group that has more. As well as having proper nutrition you need proper exercise too. Keep the body in shape and maintain a healthy weight and heart rate, and your body will be happy with you.
